Fr. John Bosco honoredChennai – Fr. John Bosco is the first seed to sprout and bear fruit in India. Today hundreds of footsteps follow St. Guanella on Indian soil, yet the first step always belongs to Fr. John Bosco, he prepared the ground for the Guanellian mission in India. DGMS, took pride in celebrating the 25th anniversary of first profession of Fr. John Bosco on October 18th. He presided over the holy Eucharist followed by a meal and short cultural event. All the major superiors of the Indian communities and Fr. Provincial were present for the event. Fr. Bosco shared his religious experience, which has been filled with lights and shadows, motivating the young religious and priests.
