Saigon – Today the ‘The Voice of God calling the disciples’ to work in the Vineyard of the Lord has been accomplished through vocation promotion. Fr. Felicks received an invitation to take part in the consecration of a new church in the Quang Binh Province. Phong Nha village in Quang Binh province is in the north of Vietnam. Fr. Felicks took the opportunity to do a vocation drive. Fr. Binh, the parish priest, helped Fr. Felicks by accompanying him to the nearby villages to share about our congregation. Fr. Felicks even had the chance to meet the Auxiliary Bishop of the Vinh Diocese. The Bishop invited the Superior General and the Provincial to visit the Vinh Diocese and to begin Guanellian work there.

I am the moderator of this blog for different province of the Congregation. The Servants of Charity are now operating in 22 countries. Our province includes India, Germany, the Philippines, United States and Vietnam. To help maintain an effective and successful formation program, candidates for the priesthood remain in their own cultures for the beginning phases of the process. I personally do not know the challenges that the confreres in Africa are facing as far as vocations are concerned. The main thing that I can do is offer you the suggestion to be patient and persistent. If you truly have a calling from God, you will find the path on which to follow in order to serve Him.
