Saigon – The long awaited time had finally arrived, June 9th. The Servants, by the grace of God, with the help of benefactors and with the support of the Province/Congregation, blessed the foundation stone for the First House of Formation in Vietnam. Rev. Fr. Crippa, Superior General blessed the foundation. For this solemn occasion, neighboring religious communities were invited. A small party followed the blessing ceremony. Fr. Crippa was amazed and surprised by the presence of the religious. He thanked them and gave them a souvenir; asking them to continue their moral and spiritual support of our Congregation in Vietnam. The parish priest Rev. Fr. Truong invited Fr. Crippa and Fr. Luigi to con-celebrate mass with him and have dinner at his house. Fr. Crippa departed for the Philippines with much joy and many memories and promised his prayers of support.
