So many people give assistance to the St. Louis Center and the developmentally disabled children it serves.
When Rotarian Paul Schissler of Chelsea takes on a service project, he takes it on in a big way. As a member of the Chelsea Rotary Club, he thought it would be a great idea to help fellow Rotarian Fr. Joseph Rinaldo, SdC., by obtaining a golf cart to help him get around St. Louis Center’s sprawling campus five miles west of Chelsea in Sylvan Twp. What made this project unique however, was that he thought it would be fun to involve the other service clubs in the community to combine their forces for good. That made this a shared project between the Rotary Club, Knights of Columbus, Lions Club, and Kiwanis Club.
