Cuddalore – St. Joseph’s Seminary Day was celebrated on March 12th with Dance Fest ’16. The chief guests of the program were Mr. Arivu Mathi, poet and writer, and Mr. Athma Patric, actor. Nearly 1500 spectators witnessed the great event. Twenty-two teams entered the dance competition; all of them performing well with stunning moments. The program was headed by Fr. Visuvasam SdC, Superior of the community, and delegate priests from the diocese. After the competition, prizes and championships were distributed by the chief guests who then addressed the audience. They said, “the differently-abled are gifts of God to everyone, teaching them to be good and charitable persons.” The prime motive of “Dance Fest ’16” was to spread the mission and charism of the congregation and to raise funds for the welfare of the disabled. The program was a great success. With a vote of thanks from Fr. Assisi, Rector, the program ended.
