CLUBBING WITH JESUS

Clubbing group processes to Grotto

Adoration at PUSJGrass Lake – In line with our spirituality and mission we are offering the local Church some spiritual activities for the benefit of youth, families, sick and aging persons. Among them is an overnight monthly adoration at the Shrine of St. Joseph. The third “Clubbing with Jesus” was on August 17th. The atmosphere of faith and the devotion of the participants impressed those joining for the first time. They were touched by the prayers, music and moments of silent contemplation of the Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. At midnight the Rosary was prayed while walking from the Grotto to the Shrine and carrying the image of the Blessed Mother. The next “Clubbing with Jesus” will be on September 22nd beginning at 8:00pm with Mass and ending the next morning at 4:00am.Clubbing group processes to Grotto

Come and See

Come and See group at PUSJ Grotto

Grass Lake – The first attempt for young men to experience the Guanellian life style began with five young men coming to live with Fr. Paul and Fr. Satheesh August 15-18th. The “Come and See” experience began on the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Mother. They spent time with the elderly on Friday at Bethany House in Jackson, Michigan. Saturday, they visited St. Louis Center; one of the residents gave a tour of the facility and then the young men played basketball with the residents. Saturday night was a renewal for all as they participated in “Clubbing with Jesus.” During these days, the young men were asked to reflect upon “Call to Holiness” and “Guanellian Ministries.” The “Come and See” program concluded with lunch on Sunday.

May Crowning of Grotto

Grass Lake– To give honor to our Blessed Mother and to beautify the Shrine and Grotto, the Women’s guild of the Pious Union have begun the project of landscaping the Grotto to Our Lady of Lourdes. Many volunteers were on hand to help plant the roses including Women’s Guild members, their husbands, clergy, and even small children. Not shown in the photos was the amazing work done by Jim Senart on the new retaining wall. He gave countless hours assisting the landscapers. Thank you to all of the amazing volunteers who have been supporting this project in honor of our Blessed Mother, Mary.
