Chelsea, MI – Saturday November 3, 2012 marked the Silver Anniversary Year for the St. Louis Center Fall Dinner Auction, and this year’s proceeds took the event over the $1,000,000 mark. The auction was once again a sell-out with 180 people in attendance, and to mark the occasion, Fr. Enzo Addari, SdC. presented Chelsea Community Hospital Chaplain Kathy Schell with a colorful canvas painting from the residents of the center. State Representative Mark Ouimet was also on hand to present her with a recognition document signed by Michigan Governor Rick Snyder. The resolution thanked the hospital for their support of SLC during the past twenty-five years.
Will Johnson was the CEO of CCH 25 years ago, and was the first community representative to reach out to SLC with a local show of support. That support came in the form of this year’s “dinner auction,” which has become the top grossing fundraiser for SLC in its history.
