St. Anthony’s Feast with the Vulnerable

Dindigul   – The Feast of St. Anthony was celebrated the first time on June 13th with the leprosy patients and the parishioners of Melosapuram at the newly erected church dedicated to St. Anthony. The church is situated at Tamil Nadu Rehabilitation Center for People with Leprosy at Paranur in the Chengelpet Diocese. It is a substation of Melrosapuram parish. Fr. Soosai Rathinam SdC, Provincial Superior, celebrated the Mass. In his sermon he spoke of the miracles of St. Anthony and his own personal witness of receiving the blessings of St. Anthony. At the end, Fr. Pravin Raj, SdC, the pastor of Melrosapuram thanked Fr. Soosai and the faithful. A car procession around the campus with St. Anthony followed Mass. Dn. Arockia Raj, SdC and the Sisters of Fatima organized the event.
