Mary’s Heart of Love

IHM - Immaculate Heart of MaryCuddalore – On June 28th Fr. Anandan preached the 1st recollection at St. Joseph’s seminary. The recollection began by defining the word charity. Then he opened his talk, “Our Mother Mary is a very good role model for charity.” He outlined the charity done by our Mother; the Annunciation, the Visitation with Elizabeth, the Nativity of Christ and the Wedding at Cana. In all these places the love which Mary possessed was expressed. At the wedding in Cana she prayed, without anyone’s compulsion, that is, out of love. And finally, she gave her begotten Son as ransom for our sins on the cross because of the love she had toward the sinful world. Confession followed; allowing them to prepare spiritually; and worthily grasping the virtues of Mary. The recollection ended by celebrating Mass for the feast of the Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
